n Cinco de Mayo may be officially over but there’s no reason not to keep celebrating unofficially as City Hall invite you to Tales of Cocktails: Cinco de Mayo Happy Hour tonight. Whether you’re interested in corporate networking, casual socialising or just a little cocktail experimenting, from 5pm until 8pm, you can enjoy music by VIBE 103 dJs, Cinco de Mayo themed cocktails, a piñata filled with surprises, a bucking bronco, and business card draws for prizes. There is no cover charge so you just have to purchase drink tickets on the night.n The City of Hamilton will also be hosting Fashion Night Out on Thursday, May 9th. Kubrick: A Life in Pictures will be shown in the Bermuda College North Hall Room G301 at 6pm and explores the career and life of Stanley Kubrick through pictures, clips from his films, his old home movies, comments from his colleagues and a narration by Tom Cruise. Fans of Kubrick classics such as The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, A Clockwork Orange or Eyes Wide Shut will be able to find out how they were inspired and how they were made. This will be at Bacardi HQ at 65 Pitts Bay Road from 5.30pm until 7.30pm and will highlight the work of Bermuda’s environmental, education, research, and conservation organisations. Representatives from these groups will be on hand to talk about their efforts and share novel ideas for how we can work together to protect the ocean.
