Correia earns recognition from Continental Who’s Who

Construction veteran Jane Correia has been recognised by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional in her field.Mrs Correia is responsible for contract management and negotiation; managing office operations; cash flow and projects; as well as ensuring quality at local firm Correia Construction Company.Correia Construction is a family owned and operated business with over 80 years of experience in technical design, project management, commercial building, demolition and marine construction.A statement from Continental said Mrs Correia was awarded in 2007 the "Tiger Performance Award" for best overall performance in service station construction and maintenance in 2006 in the Caribbean and Central America.One of Correia Construction's pinnacle jobs was to be awarded a contract to design, build and tender the cruise ship dock at Coxen Hole, Roatan, Honduras, for the world's largest cruise ship, launched by Royal Caribbean International in 2010.Dennis Correia, Mrs Correia’s husband, said they were very proud that they were awarded the job following the successful bid and contract negotiation.A member of the Match Race Committee and the International Sailing Federation, she has been honoured by numerous organisations.She was the first female Commodore of the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club which was established in 1894, and holds a Certificate of Grateful Appreciation for Leadership and Commitment in Bringing Freedom Schooner Amistad to Bermuda, Amistad America, Inc, as well as a Certificate of Appreciation in Recognition of Outstanding Contribution to Bermuda Hospitals.Continental Who's Who is a respected and trusted publisher around the globe that spotlights thousands of professional individuals and organisations each year who "standout" in their specific field.
