Westgate inmates yesterday donated four pedal cycles to needy children at Somerset Primary, Prospect Primary and St David’s Primary.

Each of the bicycles had been reassembled by a group of inmates at the facility using recovered bike frames and bike parts.

The inmates not only restored the bicycles to fully functional condition, but painted the cycles so they could be given away to needy students this Christmas.
