UPDATE: Man killed in early morning accident

The site of the early morning accident that took the life of a 21 year old Pembroke man

The Bermuda Police Service now confirm the death of 21 year old Nikko Robinson-Woodly of Friswells Hill Road, who died as a result of a single vehicle road traffic collision that took place on Harrington Sound Road just east of Paynter's Road in Hamilton Parish. It appears that around 12:55am on Saturday, a car was traveling on Harrington Sound Road when the driver of the car lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree. Nikko was taken to the hospital via ambulance where he later was pronounced dead at 2:08am. A 23 year old Smiths' man was extricated from the vehicle by Bermuda Fire Service, he then was taken to the hospital where he is listed in critical condition in the ICU with multiple injuries.An investigation into the unfortunate fatality is now underway and police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the collision or who may have seen Nikko Woodly prior to the collision, please contact PC Roger Fox of the Roads Policing Unit on 2950011.
