An access road into the Botanical Gardens has been closed off to the public so that construction work at the new hospital wing can be carried out.

The road leading from the Peace Lutheran Gate on South Shore Road to the Department of Environmental Protection, will be closed at the north end until Friday to enable cabling and concrete chamber works for air conditioning units at the new hospital to be completed.

Members of the public are asked to enter and exit through the Berry Hill entrance and use the parking lots on the eastern side of the Botanical Gardens during the closure.
