The deadline for applications for the Catlin Marine Grant is rapidly approaching.

The grant, announced last month, intended to encourage the creation of new environmental projects, will offer a total of $100,000 in funding over the next three years to projects linked to the marine environment.

Projects can be educational in nature, or be directly involved in researching or preserving or some aspect of the marine environment in Bermuda. Existing projects will be considered. However, new projects are encouraged, and collaborations between charities are also welcome.

Application forms are available online at www.bermudaendtoend.com, and the deadline for submissions is Friday at 5pm.
