Clarien Group Ltd, announced that it has appointed Paul Finn to head Capital G Bank’s Wealth Management division.

Clarien said the appointment of the American in the role of executive vice-president, effective today, aligns with Clarien’s plans to expand internationally as well as domestically.

Mr Finn will be based in Bermuda and report directly to Zoran Fotak, co-CEO of Capital G Bank Ltd.

Mr Finn is a senior wealth management executive with a corporate finance background, which includes extensive international wealth management experience at BNY Mellon, Coutts & Co. and JP Morgan Inc. His global experience includes key leadership positions in New York, London, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Brazil, as well as scope that extends to the Middle East.

Most recently, Mr Finn served as an independent wealth adviser for multigenerational and global families. Prior to that he spent 12 years at BNY Mellon as the managing director and division head of International Wealth Management responsible for building and leading the international high net worth wealth management business that encompassed Asia, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East.

“Mr Finn will provide senior level global coverage for our wealth management business and use his extensive network to identify new opportunities for Capital G Bank and Clarien Group,” added Keith Stock, chairman and CEO of the Clarien Group. “He will also focus on the recruitment, mentoring and the development of wealth management talent.”

Mr Finn has a deep understanding and familiarity with international markets — history, culture and local environments — as a result of substantial professional experience and multicultural upbringing. He is an American born in Egypt and raised in India, Pakistan and Kenya with a working knowledge of French, Spanish and Portuguese.
