A quiet day on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) saw the price of only two stocks change, with the index closing at 1,398.66, down 4.72 points.

Butterfield Bank’s preference shares increased $5 to $1,200 after 10 shares changed hands, while Butterfield Bank shares slipped one cent to $1.99 after 5,194 were traded.

Also traded yesterday were 100 shares in BF&M, and 47 shares of Ascendant Group, but neither resulted in a change of price of the stocks.

Total turnover of Bermuda stocks on The Royal Gazette/BSX index was $12,244.75, with $12,000.01 of US stocks also being traded.
