St Theresa’s on Laffan Street in Hamilton present Dr Nuala Kenny, a paediatrician and Sister of Charity from Dalhousie University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada will lecture Joy of Gospel, Credible Witness in a Post Christian World from 11am to 12.30pm at St Theresa’s Church Hall. There will be a lunch, and then from 1.30pm to 3pm she will talk about healthcare and the making of a good death. The lecture will look at the Catholic tradition of a good death, and getting people to understand their rights and obligations in regards to refusal of treatment.
