In Magistrates’ Court yesterday, a Sandys man was charged with trespassing and causing willfull damage, while a Warwick man denied assaulting a police officer.

19-year-old Frank Herbert was charged with trespassing and causing wilful damage to a Sandys home on June 27 last year.

Mr Herbert was released by Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo on $2,000 bail with one surety, and is scheduled to stand trial on June 27.

Meanwhile, 25-year-old Niki Tucker denied assaulting a police officer on March 26.

Mr Tokunbo adjourned the trial until June 30, releasing Mr Tucker on $1,500 bail.
