Something needs to be done

April 1, 2014

Dear Sir,

Speed bumps (and a crackdown on cellphone drivers, text drivers, text riders, cellphone riders, dark tint on their cars whether they be male or female and so on ASAP!) need to seriously be looked into. Doesn’t matter which party it is but something really and truly needs to be done to eradicate the regular accidents, deaths and so forth on the road moving forward. Since even women have been known to speed, the same way the police don’t ease up much on males in this regard (stop checks), they shouldn’t on a female (seriously? Police Officers being sexist on the road regarding road safety? Only stopping guys on bikes and a few drivers, who just happen to not have on a seat belt? A few who just happen to be on a cellphone around by Crow Lane? Why not the ones who do it other places as well and, just happen to be female? Is that possible? Is that a crime to a police officer?).

Speed bumps need signs, signs indicating blind corner ahead need to be put up and much, much more to hopefully decrease the accident level on Bermuda’s roads. There are idiots on the road regardless of gender and such idiots, need to be dealt with in an orderly manner (not in a sexist way).
