Dear Sir,

On behalf of the Council, Leaders and Girls of Girlguiding Bermuda, I wish to publicly say “thank you” to all those involved with and who also gave their unfailing support during our Girlguiding Week, February 16 through February 22, 2014. We are most grateful to you, the public, who gave so generously to our volunteers and girls, supporting our annual Tag Day held on Friday and Saturday, February 21 and 22nd. in Hamilton and the outer Parishes. We raised approximately $11,000, which will go towards Unit support for our girls and assisting with training and leaders.

We especially thank those who tagged for us, Council Members, past and present; former Guiders; parents; our girls and leaders and members of other charities. We also appreciate and thank those businesses who allowed us to tag on their premises. We again thank those who were involved in organising and participating in our Thinking Day Service held at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity on Sunday February 16 to make it the success it was, as well as the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band who provided the music for our parade after the church service this year.
