Efficient Technologies Bermuda Limited (Eff-Tech) has been named the official distributor of Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating solutions (Mitsubishi Electric).

Mitsubishi Electric, which is headquartered in Georgia, is a leading marketer of ductless and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) air-conditioning and heating technology in North America, Latin America, the Caribbean and Bermuda, according to a press release.

It stated: “In 1982, Mitsubishi Electric introduced its state-of-the-art, ductless air conditioners and heat pumps in North America. Mitsubishi Electric expanded its product line with VRF zoning heat pump systems using INVERTER technology to offer simultaneous cooling and heating capabilities. Mitsubishi Electric also offers compressors and a full line of air-conditioning accessories.”

It also said that Eff-Tech is able to design, install and maintain Mitsubishi Electric heating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) solutions to create energy-efficient buildings and homes while improving comfort and reducing costs for owners.

“Distributors are a critical connection between Mitsubishi Electric and the end users of our commercial and residential product lines, and we strive to maintain productive relationships with them,” Rey Benzor, business unit director for international, Mitsubishi Electric, is quoted as saying: “We are pleased to welcome Eff-Tech as an official distributor to our team and we are confident that they will continue to provide excellent service to our customers in Bermuda.”

Eff-Tech is part of the BAS Group of Companies, first opening its doors in January 2013.

“Eff-Tech has been providing Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating solutions to the Bermuda marketplace for more than a year and affording our customers an average savings of 35 to 40 percent on electricity costs,” Stephen Savage, sales and marketing manager is quoted as saying.

In addition to Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating solutions, the press release stated that Eff-Tech has partnerships with companies that provide solutions that complement HVAC solutions such as cloud-based building automation solutions, fire protection, wireless controls and weather proofing solutions. “These partnerships allow Eff-Tech to deliver turnkey HVAC solutions for new construction, building retrofits and private homes.”
