A developer is seeking to turn a vacant retail space in Hamilton into doctors’ offices.

Toddings Ltd is seeking in-principle planning approval to convert a property on Burnaby Street to a medical facility.

The ground floor, which had been a retail showroom, would house a reception area, doctors’ offices, consult rooms and phlebotomy, while a basement area would feature diagnostic suites and laboratory spaces.

Two upper floors would house more diagnostic suites and doctor’s offices.

The application is currently available for public viewing at the Department of Planning offices.
