Bermudian trio join nursing honour society

Angelita Trott, Khamani Fox, Dunae Richards were inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing at Miami’s Barry University. To be join the society, a university student must be in the top 15 percent of their classes.

Three Bermudian nurses studying in Miami’s Barry University have made the grade to get inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honour Society for Nursing.

Khamani Fox, 24, Dunae Richards, 23, and Angelita Trott, 22 have demonstrated leadership along with excellence in scholarship, making the top 15 percent of their respective classes.

All are Bermuda Hospitals Board Scholarship recipients, while Ms Trott is also a Barbara Ball Scholarship recipient, a BHB spokeswoman said.

The trio are to join the Lambda Chi Chapter of the Society.
