Police hold St George’s Town Hall today

East end residents will get an opportunity to air their concerns at a police forum from 9am today at the St George’s Town Hall.

The “first of several” police community clinics will run until 12pm, with others expected to follow each Wednesday until the end of June.

Residents will also receive information on crime prevention and advice on forming Neighbourhood Watch Groups.

The announcement capped a quiet holiday weekend, with “no significant incidents of antisocial behaviour reported”.

Officers dealt with 15 reports of loud music and arrested 28 people for outstanding arrests, as well as conducting liquor licence checks throughout the Island.
