Two issues traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday, both advancers, as 3,700 shares changed hands in trades worth $8,470.

Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd was up a penny to $2 (0.5 percent) on volume of 3,500, while Ascendant Group Ltd closed up 55 cents (8.1 percent) at $7.35 on volume of 200.

The RG / BSX Index closed up 0.67 percent at 1,426.41.

The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1464.88, up 16.14 points or 1.11 percent.
