The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index closed down 4.46 at 1,396.05 at the week’s end.

Some 135,949 shares traded, at a value of $519,851.64.

The utilities sector saw declines with both Ascendant Group Limited and KeyTech Limited trading, the energy company seeing 23,143 shares moving closing down 0.25 at 6.75. KeyTech also closed down 0.25 at 4.75 after 8,499 shares moved.

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd saw 3,600 shares trade finishing at 3.01, down 0.29. The 8.8 percent decline was the greatest of the week.

Bermuda Press saw movement with 71 shares trading, closing at an unchanged 8.75.

Insurance shares moved with 1,071 Argus Group Holdings Ltd changing hands at a steady 4.01, while BF&M also traded, 100 shares moving at 17.75 at weeks end, up 0.74.

The banking sector was busy with Somers Limited seeing 9,000 trade. The stock was down at the close on Friday at 13.75, a change of 0.51.

Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd was unchanged after 90,465 shares moved at 1.99. Bank of NT Butterfield preference shares were also unchanged after 20 shares moved closing at 1,179.00.
