Dear Sir

I think we need to keep in mind that an election must be called within five years of the first sitting of the House after the last election.

Ergo, it must be ‘called’ before say, February 2018.

Between now and then let us remember that one major difference between 1998 and now is that in 1998 we were not aware of what we might get.

Today, we know absolutely what we WILL get ... and IF we get what we know we will get there will be no excuses, and nor will there be much hope.

In the event that this is a ship of fools ... the noise of suction will not be backwash, it will be the sound of capital being withdrawn
