An article on home births in the June 30 edition of The Royal Gazette contained a statement by home birth advocate Sophia Cannonier that a midwife being brought to the Island from the UK “does not have home birth experience”. In fact, Tandy Deane-Gray is a fully qualified midwife and also a senior lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire. The Royal Gazette apologises for the error.
