Cut. One of the phrases I use often when talking to entrepreneurs and individuals is the need for them to “cut the cloth to fit the pattern”. Even as we all hope that we are in a form of recovery it is essential that everyone make the very best use of the limited resources that are available.

In order to do this effectively you do need to develop a spending plan that allows for some saving and the elimination of debt. We cannot change the economic pattern that we are experiencing but we can change the size of the cloth so that we can establish a new foundation for future growth as the economy improves.

Take some time this week to review where you are, what you can change, and how that will improve your position for the future that does lie ahead of you. It is your time to act.
