KeyTech and Argus gain

KeyTech Ltd and Argus Group Holdings Ltd both logged gains of more than five percent in Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) trading last week.

KeyTech, in the news recently for its plans to sell off the Bermuda Telephone Company and take a controlling interest in Bermuda CableVision Ltd, gained 25 cents, or 5.9 percent, to close the week on $4.50, as 7,500 of its shares traded.

Insurer Argus gained 20 cents, or 5.3 percent, to close the week on $4, as 53,000 of its shares changed hands.

Belco owner Ascendant Group Ltd also climbed, gaining five cents, or 0.8 percent, to $6.25 on the trading of 18,375 shares.

Insurer BF&M Ltd was the fourth stock to advance, recording a gain of ten cents, or 0.6 percent, to close on Friday at $17.10 after 225 shares traded.

The only stock to fall last week was Butterfield Bank, which slipped one cent, or 0.5 percent, to close on $1.99, as 309,731 shares changed hands.

The post-Cup Match trading week resulted in a gain of 3.08 points, or 0.22 percent, for The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which closed on 1,388.5.
