Trey Simons and Allison Outerbridge both competed for Bermuda at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Under-23 Championships in Kamloops, British Columbia.
Simons finished fourth out of four athletes in the men’s 1,500 metres, posting a time of 3min 58.83sec. Matthew Hillbrand of the United States won the race in 3:54.85.
Outerbridge failed to record a leap in the women’s triple jump. The event was won by Tori Franklin with a leap of 13.42 metres.
