There will be free sand sculpting clinics at Horseshoe Bay Beach on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 August from 5-6pm.

This year categories include: Families; Children (12 years and under); Teenagers (13-19 years) and an Open/Company/Organisation/Tourist category.

Organiser: Nicky Gurrett told us: “Entries can be sent to info@youthandsport.bm where one must indicate category being entered (children, teenager, family, open) and the names of each participant.

“There is a maximum of six people per team and entry is free. However we would like all entries in by Wednesday 27th August or before.

“This is the first time the Department of Youth and Sports are sponsoring the event and we are grateful for their support for this community event.”

The 19th Annual Sand Sculpture Competition will take place on Saturday, 30 August 2014 from 10 — 4pm.
