Starting today, a new parking fee system comes into effect for Hamilton motorists — including North Hamilton streets where drivers had previously been accustomed to free parking.

Pay and display will cover all roads in the City, with a risk of clamping or fines for drivers who don’t pay a fee. Motorcyclists will remain exempt.
