Residents are being asked to dig deep to support a local charity’s first tag day.

The Bermuda Organ and Tissue Donor Association will be collecting donations across the Island tomorrow.

“The funds raised will support our goal of increasing awareness in our community,” said a spokeswoman for the group. “They will also help to set up a support group for people who have donated organs, and the recipients of organs.”

Volunteers will be at Harrington Hundreds, Butterfield Bank on Reid Street, HSBC on Front Street, Lindo’s in Warwick, Modern Mart in Paget, and Supermart on Front Street.
