Dear Sir,

As much as some may disagree with my views, I do have an opinion on matters that involve motor vehicles and cycles as we continue to see the like of lately. “One need not be the cause of an accident, only a victim ...” I’d suggested (not too long ago) to the One Bermuda Alliance Government and the Progressive Labour Party how they must agree on changing the law concerning all private motor vehicles and motorcycles.

Have them fitted with a speed governor so that we will see less deaths on our roads. Also, there will be less accidents as well. (As they use to say, “ride like lightning, you crash like thunder”.) Furthermore, do confiscate the individual’s vehicle and ban them from owning one for a period of months or years if they are to remove the speed governor. This will slow many people down. Driving is a privilege and not a human right.
