Former Premier Dr Ewart Brown will be the guest speaker at Friday’s annual Labour Day Banquet.

The event will be held at the Fairmont Southampton and begin at 6.45pm.

There will also be a pre-Labour Day Worship Service at Shelly Bay Beach between 2pm and 7pm on Sunday.

Monday’s schedule of events will begin at 8am with Swan’s Running Club’s annual children’s race and walk at 8am.

At 11am there will be Labour Day Greetings from Trade Unionists, Government and Opposition Leaders.

While the Labour Day March will begin at Union Square at 11.30am.
