Police arrest man over dispute involving Senator

A 46-year-old man has been arrested over “an altercation” involving OBA Senator Jeffrey Baron, according to police.

The incident happened at 11pm on Wednesday at the Swizzle Inn in Hamilton Parish.

“Bermuda Police Service can confirm that Senator Jeffrey Baron was involved in an altercation that resulted in the arrest of a 46-year-old St George’s man on suspicion of having care and control of a motor car while impaired,” a police spokesman said.

Enquiries are continuing and police are keen to speak to anyone who was at the Swizzle Inn at the time.
