The Church of God Miracle Temple’s Impact Ministry will be hosting its Gospel Graffiti Art Competition for the second year in a row. Local graffiti artists, painters, and visual artists are encouraged to gather a team to create a spiritual inspired art work and compete for prizes. The Women of Heard Chapel AME have rescheduled its Sunset “Dessert” Cruise on board The MV Destiny. The boat leaves from Albouy’s Point at 5.30pm; and from Watford Bridge at 6pm. Tickets are $35. For more information call the church office at 292-3949.

The Women of Bright Temple AME Church invite you to join them for a Night of Revival at 7.30pm. Speaker will be Preacher Rev Judith Gardner, the Executive Minister of St Paul AME Church.

September 19

First Church of God’s Music & Arts Ministry presents Jam Cruise 2, taking place next Friday. DJ Coverboy will be playing the latest in gospel soca, reggae, R&B, hip hop and Praise and Worship music. The boat leaves from Albouy’s Point at 7pm. Tickets are $40, which includes a meal. For more information call the church office on 295-6080.

St Philip AME Christian Education Sunday will be taking place at 11am.

Bright Temple AME Church will be hosting a Women’s Day, starting with a worship service at 10am. The theme is: Women Working Together in Obedience to God. The guest preacher is Rev Esther P Douglas, Assistant Minister of Vernon Temple AME Church. There will be a luncheon that follows at a cost of $12. In the afternoon there will be another worship service at 3.30pm, led by Guest Preacher Rev Ruth Vanlowe Smith, Pastor at Bethel AME Church.
