The gift shop has opened in the lobby of the hospital’s new acute care wing.

The Hospitals Auxiliary of Bermuda said the store was bigger and stocked with an “exciting” new range of items.

The shop also now offers a self-service coffee bar and baked goods.

“We are so pleased to open the gift shop in the new acute care wing in this new and bigger space,” said HAB president Liz Titterton.

“We have completely updated our stock and have some exciting new items that will make wonderful gifts, whether for patients or other loved ones.

“We warmly invite all visitors to pop by and see us — we are immediately on the right as you walk into the new lobby.

“It is a first for us to offer self-service coffee and teas and wrapped baked goods in the gift shop but we recognised that people may be in need of refreshments in the new wing.

“Our much loved Pink Café remains in the lobby of the general wing for anyone who wants to eat something more substantial, or if they want to sit down with their refreshments.”

The gift shop will be open from 9am until 4pm from Monday to Friday, and from 9am until noon on Saturdays.
