Private school heads have banded together to form the Bermuda Independent Schools Association (BISA), to enable better collaboration and representation.

In a meeting earlier this week, heads of the six different private schools agreed to form BISA as “a forum for the heads to share issues of professional interest and to consider developments in education in Bermuda”, according to a statement issued yesterday.

“The association seeks to become a recognisable entity through which the views of the independent schools in Bermuda can be represented to the community, the Government and to other agencies.”
