Ignition Technology Group Ltd announced it has appointed Shannon Gosse to oversee business development in Bermuda.

Mr Gosse’s duties will include the development, implementation and management of all key aspects of the business development efforts in the Bermuda region for Ignition, which is a provider of offshore business solutions, managed services, cloud hosting, business continuity/disaster recovery and IT outsourcing.

The company said in his new role he will be responsible for promoting Ignition’s solutions in the region, including cloud, virtualisation, service desk, and ViewPoint Professional Services.

“I am thrilled to join the Ignition team. Ignition has a strong presence in the region and I look forward to helping Ignition expand on its current success and to using my expertise to help drive market growth,” he said.

According to Ignition, the new business development manager has more than 12 years of experience in the technology sector, including five years in Bermuda, most recently at Digicel. He has also worked for IBM Agency/Group.

He holds a computer support specialist diploma from College of the North Atlantic, in addition to training as a Microsoft certified professional.
