Motorcyclist hurt in crash

A motorcyclist was treated in hospital after colliding with a car in Warwick yesterday morning.

The 63-year-old Pembroke man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The accident took place at 10:30am on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Khyber Pass.

A police spokesman said: “It appears that a motorcyclist was riding along Middle Road and a car driver was exiting the Warwick Post Office property when the vehicles collided.”

Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses should call PC Gregory White at the Somerset Police Station on telephone number 234-1010.
