Biker hurt in crash with police vehicle

A 30-year-old man is in hospital after his motorcycle collided with a police vehicle.

The accident happended at 2.30am on Saturday on Point Finger Road, Paget.

Police said the injured biker, from Hamilton parish, was in a stable condition on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and that his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. No one else was hurt.

Witnesses are urged to contact Sergeant Raoul Ming at the Hamilton Police Station on 247-1704.
