A tourist has been injured in a motorcycle accident.

The 54-year-old Canadian woman, who was on a rental scooter, was hurt at about 10.15am today on South Road in Southampton near Turtle Place.

No other vehicles were involved.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance but later discharged, a police spokesman said.
