All Government public schools will remain closed tomorrow.

A Government spokeswoman said ongoing assessments and works are being conducted at schools by Belco and Public Works personnel.

But several other schools will reopen after efforts to clean up after Tropical Storm Fay.

Bermuda High School, Warwick Academy, Bermuda Institute, Somersfield Academy and Mount Saint Agnes Academy will welcome pupils back on Tuesday.

Saltus Grammar School said they were unable to open any departments due to power outages and repair work and that both campuses would close.

One classroom suffered extensive damage to its roof and a tree was uprooted.

Deputy head Jon Beard said staff and maintenance crews had been working hard to get things back in shape and that they were hopeful of reopening on Wednesday morning.
