Ambulances on standby at western and eastern fire stations

At the ready: An ambulance is standing by in the western area

Ambulances will be based at the western and eastern fire stations during and after Hurricane Gonzalo, Bermuda Fire and Rescue has said.

Two emergency medical technicians from King Edward VII Memorial Hospital are manning the vehicle in the west end and will work with the Fire Service to assist will all calls in the western area.

The eastern ambulance is staffed by two Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service emergency medical technicians and will assist the hospital in attending incidents in that area.
