There’s a flurry of activity at sea today as maritime life returns to normal after Hurricane Gonzalo.

Today sees the arrival of the car carrier, Viking Coral, into Hamilton to deliver 64 new vehicles.

While HMS Argyll departs Bermuda this afternoon after her crew provided invaluable support to the island’s post hurricane recovery operation.

And in the West End the cruise ship, Celebrity Infinity, will trundle into Dockyard this morning for its one and only trip of the year to Bermuda.

She’s the first liner into Dockyard since Gonzalo’s presence promoted a series of cancellations over the weekend and on Monday.

The Bermuda Islander is back in the capital tomorrow providing a welcome boost to supermarket shelves in the wake of Gonzalo.

It’s the first time the container ship is back in port since she came to the rescue of a two-strong yacht crew as Gonzalo approached the Island last Friday.

Meanwhile this weekend sees a familiar duo head back into the West End.

On Saturday the Explorer of the Seas is back in the more temperate waters of Bermuda as opposed to Nova Scotia where she headed last weekend due to Gonzalo.

And on Sunday the Norwegian Dawn will dock at Heritage Wharf for a two-night stay on the Island.
