Police has advised residents to keep an eye on their home repair supplies as the Island’s recovery from Hurricane Gonzalo continues.

The warning came after an attempted theft of roof slate.

A police spokesman said there had been a report yesterday of a person attempting to steal the repair material from a Hamilton Parish property.

• Police also gave updates on two patients currently in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

A 51-year-old Hamilton Parish man is still in critical condition after a single vehicle motorcycle crash on October 16.

A man hurt on October 18 after falling off a ladder by a Longford Road, Warwick home, said to be a 35-year-old contract worker, also remains in the ICU.
