Hundreds took to the streets of Hamilton yesterday afternoon donning pink ribbon shirts to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The BF&M Breast Cancer Awareness Walk is just one of a series of event held to both educate the public about the deadly affliction, and encourage early detection.

Breast cancer is the principal cause of cancer for women in Bermuda, affecting one in eight women.
