Woman denies receiving stolen phone

Magistrates’ Court

A 36-year-old woman will stand trial next year accused of receiving a stolen Galaxy cell phone worth more than $500.

Georgina Liburd appeared at Magistrates’ Court this morning where she pleaded not guilty to dishonestly receiving stolen goods between August 19 and September 14, 2014.

Ms Liburd, of Pembroke, was released on bail and will stand trial on February 14, 2015.
