A 23-year-old man has denied keeping an unlicensed pit bull.

Aldonte Smith pleaded not guilty to keeping the fawn, female dog between a date unknown and June 6, 2014, at Plea Court this morning.

Mr Smith of Pembroke was released on bail and will return to court on November 5 for his case to be mentioned again.
