Serpentine Road and Pitts Bay Road have been reopened to traffic after downed wires were cleared by Belco staff.

However, a police spokesman urged motorists be careful when travelling through the area as utility crews are still carrying out remedial work.

The roads were closed off earlier this afternoon due to the downed wires, with police urging the public to find alternate routes.
