Correia Construction denies charges

Correia Construction has been charged with failing to provide an employee with health insurance.

The company’s CEO, Dennis Correia, appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning on behalf of the firm to face two charges related to a worker’s health insurance.

Mr Correia pleaded not guilty to failing to provide Cordova Marshall with a health insurance policy between August 1, 2013 and November 9, 2013.

He also denied failing to tell Mr Marshall that he did not have a health insurance policy between the same dates.

The construction firm will stand trial on March 19 next year.
