A 25-year-old man has denied stealing a flatscreen television.

Wayne Simmons, of Belvedere Road, Paget, pleaded not guilty in Magistrates’ Court this morning to stealing the 40-inch TV, worth $999.

The court was told he entered a home on Cobbs Hill Road, Paget, and allegedly stole the flatscreen on June 29.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set a trial date of March 11 and set bail at $3,000 with one like surety.
