Detectives are continuing to appeal for help tracking down two men who burst into a launderette and stole cash.

The two males, who were both unarmed, targeted the Somerset Laundromat in the plaza adjacent to The Market Place in Sandys at 2.55pm on Monday.

They then fled the scene with what Police described as “a quantity of cash”.

A Police spokesman said: “Anyone who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in The Market Place, Dollar Depot, Sandys parish area between 2.30pm and 3pm Monday should contact the Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477.”
