Exclusive Home, a new store which opened its doors quietly on October 11, has Premier Michael Dunkley lined up to cut the ribbon tomorrow morning to officially launch the business.

The emporium sells home decor and furniture, which feature a rustic-meets-modern look, and is located at 75 Reid Street. The items in stock include sofas, chairs, lamps, candles and wall decor, as well as items from Bermudian artisans, including handmade pillows and spices in a bid “to support Buy Bermuda”, according to a statement.

The response to the store so far has been “extremely positive, as customers were delighted by the new style and prices that are now available in Bermuda”.

Steven Faries, owner of Exclusive Group of Companies, is behind the new venture. Mr Faries said: “We are so excited to officially open Exclusive Home and offer something new to Bermuda with affordable prices.”

The store is part of the Exclusive Group of Companies that owns Exclusive Events, providing decor for weddings, corporate and other events. That business opened seven years ago. “We have been very successful with our events company, Exclusive Events, where clients are always looking to buy our rental products.

“That is how the idea for Exclusive Home came about.”

The store is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.

The store stated it will be offering a ‘Black Friday deal’, which will be announced on their Facebook page ‘Exclusive Home Bermuda’ and will be opening for late night Christmas shopping in December.
