Bermuda’s team of Lamar Richardson, Damien Matthews, Rickai Binns, David Maycock, Jermaine DeSilva, Delmont Tucker, Steven Riley and Antoine Jones will be up against the best bowlers in the world from 52 countries.

The team will complete in the singles, doubles, trios, team event, all events and the masters event.

Each event consists of a total of six qualifying games to determine the top four who will then bowl head-to-head matches for gold, silver and bronze.

The most prestigious event will be the team event, which was won by Team USA at the last Championships.

The team has been training the last six months under the watchful eye of Antoine Jones and well-known US bowler/coach Tim Mack.

Bermuda last competed at the Championships in 2003 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Island’s best showing at the Championships was fourth place in the team event at the 1987 Championships in Helsinki, Finland.

All members of the team have a wealth of International experience, having represented Bermuda in various International events in the past.

Matthews won a bronze medal at the 2010 CAC Games in the singles event.
