Two Hamilton businesses held a joint grand opening, as A2Z Fashions and Heaven Sent Boutique combined.

The Queen Street businesses are run collectively by Joy Hunt, Angel Burgess, and Niketa Lambert who all owned individual businesses before forming their partnership.

Home Affairs Minister Michael Fahy and Bermuda Economic Development (BEDC) chairman Nicholas Kempe attended the event.

“BEDC remains vigilant in its mandate to support business owners through training, market knowledge, as well as the provision of seminars and networking opportunities,” Minister Fahy said.

“With this being Global Entrepreneurship Week, I am honoured to be in attendance at the Grand Opening of A2Z Fashions & Heaven Sent Boutique.

“BEDC has helped these ladies through providing ongoing business advice starting from when they were separate businesses through to when they partnered and combined retail shops.

Mr. Kempe said: “Our goal at BEDC is to strengthen the market industry and provide avenues for retail enterprise to grow in Bermuda.”
